LAST MEETING NEWS - SEPTEMBER 24, 2008

     Hi, for everyone who missed our last meeting, here is an update for you. We discussed that next month's meeting will be very important because it's nominating time for new officers of the club.  

     We got a new member. His name is Danny and he will be an asset to the club. You can see his great finds on the picture section of the web site.

     We discussed an end of the year get together. A vote was taken and the majority was in favor of having a dinner. A time & location have not yet been determined. A suggestion from a member was that at least $20.00 was collected from each member so as not to drain the treasury. A vote was taken and again the majority was in favor of the collection for the get together.  Our honorary members will be our quests at the dinner.

     Avery and Harry ( two new members ) volunteered to be in charge of coordinating any club hunts. Valerie who came as a guest and I hope to soon become a member volunteered to bring in the snacks and to take care of making the coffee for the rest of the year.  Steve Ciriaco will be donating a case of coffee to the club. BIG THANKS to Valerie & Steve.

     A Big thank you also goes to our own Mike Burns for supplying September's coffee and great crumb cake.

     Also we spoke about the dates of the meetings for the rest of the year.

Oct. will be  on the 29th.

Nov. will be on the 19th.
